Behind the apron... this is me.
Theres nothing quite like baking, it gives the pleasure of sharing with others, creating something with your hands, and enjoying that creation with your taste buds. For whatever reason, baking gives me a sense of calm, some get it from yoga, i get it from baking cookies and dreaming of dipping them into milk when they're done.
Let me paint a picture for you.
One day ...I will open up my very own bakery, filled with goodies of finnish decent and scandinavian pastry relatives. I'd have open mics and comfy chairs, huge mugs for hot chocolate and lovely vintage indie tunes playing in the background. A place for you and your lovebird, you and your friend, you and your family, you and the stranger next to you, or just you alone will do.
Once i open it up, my husband can make this scene from "Stranger Than Fiction" finally come true
